Do I need electricity?
No, our showers use a battery for a pulse ignition and are powered by gas.
So, no electricity needed at all!
How long will a gas bottle last?
I've got a big yard of horses, do you do a more powerful shower?
The 'power' rating for the showers has no bearing on how many horses/dogs/welly boots/classic cars it can wash. It's to do with how many litres of water it can heat in a minute. You can wash as many horses as your gas bottle allows for.
Do you offer finance?
We can't personally offer finance, but do offer Paypal, which allows you to pay with Paypal credit.
What gas bottle do I need for my shower?
The showers require PROPANE gas - this is usually the orange-y/red bottle you get. Either Calor gas or FloGas is fine.
We don't supply the regulator for, or recommend using, Butane as it is less reliable. If you have a portable shower (in a frame with wheels) then you'll need a 6kg bottle. That slots in perfectly. And other models can have any sized gas bottles.
How long is a piece of string? How often do you use it? Do you wash in one continual stream or stop/start? As an example, we have two horses, we wash them maybe once a month fully, but rinse off dirty legs and make hot feeds with the Hippo and our bottle lasts over a year.
